Registration is open for an informational workshop about bicentennial grants available to staff, faculty, students and alumni.
The Bicentennial Activity Grant Program is open to all members of the university community to support a wide range of activities related to U-M’s 200th anniversary celebration in 2017.
Projects may include symposia or seminars, publications, events, exhibits, engagement activities, or service activities. Research projects also are eligible if there is specific output that enhances programming in 2017.
The workshop, sponsored by the Bicentennial Office, is planned from noon-1:30 p.m. Tuesday and includes lunch. It will be in the Koessler Room of the Michigan League.

Will there be other workshops offered in the near future? The timing for this workshop conflicts with classroom teaching responsibilities, coupled with the complexities of getting back and forth from North Campus, making it impossible to participate.
Michael Rodemer
The meeting time conflicts with my teaching times as well. Perhaps there could be a second session scheduled on North Campus after classes end?

We are currently working to schedule a workshop in January. Additional workshops will also be scheduled through the winter term. – Bailey Oland, Administrative Assistant, UM Bicentennial Office
