Workplace of the ’90s conference slated June 3–5

This year’s Workplace of the ’90s conference features old favorites making return engagements and new seminars suggested by past conference participants. “Transformation: Choices for a Changing Future” offers seminars focusing on personal development, work skills, professional development, health and wellness, and management development. It will be held June 4 at the Rackham Bldg. and repeated June 5.

Keynote speakers Ann and Bob Harper will present “Self-Directed Work Teams and the Future: Is Your Organization Ready? Are You?” at 8:15 a.m. in Rackham Lecture Hall. The speakers write and train extensively in organizational change a nd development. They have written three books on change directed toward empowerment and participation.

Preconference intensive courses, $45 each, will be held 8:30 a.m.–noon and 1–4 p.m. June 3. Course offerings include “Behaviorally-Based Interviewing,” “Powerful Business Writing” and “Performance Coaching for M anagers,” among others.
