After 27 years at its current location on the House side of the U.S. Capitol, the U-M Washington Office has moved to a new building on the Senate side.
Beginning Friday, the new address for the university’s D.C. office will be 444 N. Capitol St., NW, Suite 820, Washington, DC 20001. The phone number will remain the same – 202-554-0578.
“This new location will serve the university well,” said Mike Waring, director of the Washington Office. “Numerous other universities have offices in that building, including half of the Big Ten schools. In addition, the state of Michigan’s office is located there. The new space will make our work more efficient and enhance the collaborations we have with other universities and coalitions.”
Faculty, students and staff are encouraged to contact the U-M Washington Office when they visit the nation’s capital on business.
