U-M-Flint adds two master’s programs

The U-M-Flint Office of Graduate Studies and Programs will launch two new master’s programs this year, a Master of Public Administration (MPA) concentration in educational administration and a Master of Science in Health Education.

The MPA in educational administration is designed to equip the educational administrator with a broad perspective on the range of problems confronting education today. The program has been approved by the Michigan Department of Education and leads to certification in school administration. It will start in the spring semester, beginning April 29.

The Master of Science in Health Education program, offered by the School of Health Professionals and Studies, will begin in the fall. It is designed to prepare students for work in a variety of community settings that focus on disease prevention and health promotion. Health educators conduct and manage health education programs, educational consulting, and administer health education-related activities.
