Listed below are the closure schedules for Transportation Services and changes in bus schedules.
The Transportation Services Office will close at 5 p.m. Dec. 23 and reopen at 6:30 a.m. Jan. 3. Individuals who need to rent pool vehicles during this period must make arrangements no later than noon Dec. 22.
The Garage will close at the end of the afternoon shift Dec. 23 and reopen at 7 a.m. Jan. 3. The Heavy Equipment Garage will be open through the day shift Dec. 23. Emergency service calls should be directed to the Department of Public Safety (DPS), 763-1131.
The fuel stations will be in operation throughout the holiday period. The Baxter Road station is accessible 24 hours per day. Access to the Kipke Drive station can be obtained by calling DPS, 763-1131.
Bus schedules
The Commuter and North Commuter buses will operate on their regular schedules through Dec. 23. Service will resume Jan. 3.
The Nite Owl service will run through Dec. 21 and resume Jan. 5.
Paratransit Transportation will operate through Dec. 22, resuming Jan. 3. University buses operating during the holiday recess will be handicapped accessible.
Northwood and Bursley-Baits bus service will run on the regular published schedule through Dec. 22. On Dec. 23, North Campus will be served by the North Campus route following the Weekend and Holidays Schedule, with the last bus leaving Central Campus at midnight.
The Winter Break Schedule for the North Campus route begins Dec. 24, with the first bus leaving Northwood V at 7:10 a.m. This schedule will run through Dec. 31. The service generally runs at 40-minute intervals, with the last bus leaving Central Campus at 11:30 p.m. On Dec. 24, service will end with the departure of the 6:50 p.m. trip to North Campus. There is no service Dec. 25 or Jan. 1.
Regular published service for all bus routes will resume Jan. 3.
