A project to repair the elevator lobby and stairs, and to replace stairwell handrails in the Thompson Street Parking Structure will be deferred until next year.
The work had been scheduled to begin Monday and be completed in phases through the summer.
“Based on a number of concerns raised regarding this schedule, we have decided to defer the project until the spring and summer of 2016,” said Grant Winston, associate director for customer service for Parking & Transportation Services.
“Once we have dates and details regarding next year’s schedule, we will distribute that, so everyone can plan in advance around the project schedule.”
