SPH unit named WHO Center

The Department of Environmental and Industrial Education in the School of Public Health has been named a World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center in Occupational Health. The honor is expected to motivate the expansion of international projects. Faculty active in international public health at the center include Profs. David H. Garabant, who has projects in Indonesia; Steven P. Levine, projects in east Asia and Europe; Khalil H. Mancy, Middle East; and Milagros S. Simmons, Chile.
