Scientists surprised at ID Day

The University Record, March 29, 1999

The Palen family of Stone Road brought a number of items for identification to the second annual ID Day at the Exhibit Museum. But the experts turned the tables on the family with a quiz of their own. Five-year-old Jack, a student at Glacier Way Cooperative Nursery School, astonished the panel when he correctly identified the partial skull of a Pachycephalosaurus. Also pictured is Jack’s sister Madeleine, who is 7 and a student at Ann Arbor Open School. Their parents are Lisa and Joseph. Photo by Joanne Nesbit
