The University Record, January 24, 2000 Faculty salary increases at the University for 1999–2000 averaged 5.9 percent, according to figures from the University’s Salary Record released Jan. 21.
Salary increases for staff at all grades averaged 3.9 percent. The staff averages include salaries for employees in the Health System and exclude bargained-for employees.
Merit salary increases for the University’s executive officers averaged 5.74 percent. Merit increases for deans averaged 4.55 percent.
The Regents voted Jan. 21 to set President Lee C. Bollinger’s salary at $311,000, effective Sept. 1, 1999–Aug. 31, 2000, reflecting a merit increase of approximately 5 percent.
