Rose Bowl tickets go on sale Dec. 2 for students, Dec. 3 for faculty, staff; alumni packages available also

Rose Bowl game tickets and tour packages are being made available to U-M students, faculty, staff and alumni with the Wolverines¼ clinching of the Big Ten football championship.

„We want students to have priority with Rose Bowl tickets. This trip to Pasadena is a wonderful opportunity for them,¾ said Athletic Director Tom Goss, in announcing ticket availability after Saturday¼s game.

Tickets for the 84th Rose Bowl will be available to U-M students noon‚7 p.m. Dec. 2‚3 at Yost Ice Arena. Students are limited to one ticket each and must show up in person to place an order. Tickets must be picked up in Pasadena, Calif., site of the Rose Bowl.

Faculty and staff football season ticket-holders may apply for up to two Rose Bowl tickets 8 a.m.‚5:30 p.m. Dec. 3‚4 at the Athletic Ticket Office, 1000 S. State St. in the Hartwig Building. There will be no public sale of tickets at the Athletic Ticket Office. Season ticket-holders and faculty and staff who are not season ticket holders may apply for Alumni Association tour packages, which include game tickets.

Alumni interested in purchasing a game ticket should contact the Alumni Rose Bowl Ticket Office, 207-1990. A limited number of tickets will be available, with priority given to members of Presidential Societies and Alumni Association members living in the western states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

Rose Bowl tickets also will be included in trip packages being offered through the Alumni Association, which is coordinating official University tours to Pasadena. Tour packages include lodging in nearby Newport Beach, grandstand seating at the Tournament of Roses Parade and a ticket to the Rose Bowl. Five-night and three-night packages are available, with the longer tour including round-trip air fare.

The Alumni Association also is offering student tours to the Rose Bowl. Five-night packages are available and include round-trip air fare, lodging, and tickets to the Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl game.
