‘I feel like we went out and met the heroes of the state,’ said Myron Campbell of the Road Scholars tour around Michigan May 1–5. In what would be called a ‘listening tour’ in other contexts, the five-day trip took 30 faculty members to 11 Michigan cities to meet with prominent local figures and discuss relevant state issues. Stops ranged from the Muskegon Correctional Facility to the Peshawbestown reservation to Focus Hope in Detroit. Step up to reduce stress
Many of the sessions at the Workplace 2000 Conference focused on stress reduction at home and at work.
