Just a reminder that Ann Arbor is getting a new area code-734-starting Saturday (Dec. 13). Use of either 734 or 313 will be allowed until July 25, when 734 becomes mandatory. All campus units will need to change stationary, business cards, internal documents, directories and advertising (including yellow page listings) that contain phone numbers. The area code change also may require changes to systems or equipment. A frequently-asked-questions (FAQ) document with detailed information on the new area code is on the Web at http://www.itd.umich.edu under “What’s New.”
