Registration is open for an informational workshop about bicentennial grants available to staff, faculty, students and alumni.

The Bicentennial Activity Grant Program is open to all members of the university community to support a wide range of activities related to the 200th anniversary celebration in 2017.

Projects may include symposia or seminars, publications, events, exhibits, engagement activities or service activities. Research projects also are eligible if there is specific output that enhances programming in 2017.

The workshop, sponsored by the Bicentennial Office, is planned for Jan. 20, from noon-1:30 p.m. and includes lunch. It will be in the Vandenberg Room of the Michigan League. The registration deadline is Jan. 18.
