Record promotes one, welcomes one
Rebecca A. Doyle, former associate editor of The University Record, has been named editor of the paper, and Jared Blank has joined the staff as associate editor.
Doyle has been with the Record for five years. In addition to writing, reporting and editing duties, she handles the display advertising and photo scanning. Her own photography frequently appears in the Record.
She succeeds Mary Jo Frank, who now is coordinator of executive communications for President James J. Duderstadt.
Blank most recently was a federal relations research assistant in the Office of University Relations, following graduation from the U-M last year with a B. A. in English. His duties in that position included reporting on the federal scene for the Record and other special assignments.
