Pop in for Puppies and Popcorn

Final exams can be stressful, so LSA’s Newnan Academic Advising Center invited students and the U-M community to relieve stress by petting dogs and snacking on popcorn.

More than 260 students dropped in to Pop in for Puppies and Popcorn on Dec. 14, the result of a partnership between the Newnan Academic Advising Center and Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control.

The event provided mutual benefit as students and community members enjoyed the opportunity to interact with dogs and enjoy a midday snack, while the dogs experienced a reprieve from the shelter environment.

Here are some photos from the event. Click on each to enlarge.
