Two sexual assaults by known visitors reported

Two students reported to police in separate incidents from Oct. 7 that they had been assaulted in residence hall rooms by invited guests. One was reported to have occurred in West Quadrangle and the other in Bursley Hall. Both investigations are ongoing.

Sexual assault reported from 2012

An alumna reported Oct. 18 that she had been sexually assaulted five years ago when living in Northwood Community Apartments. She reported that the suspect was another student at the time.

Student charged in assault at North Quadrangle

A student has been charged with one count of domestic violence in connection with an Oct. 1 incident at North Quadrangle Academic and Residential Complex. The student was arrested, taken to jail and released on $500 bond.

Charges authorized in burglary at Hill Auditorium

A four-count arrest warrant has been authorized for a student in connection with a break-in Oct. 1 at Hill Auditorium. University Police had been notified that a male had broken an exterior window and climbed into the building. Police located the suspect in the building. He is charged with malicious destruction of property, illegal entry and two counts of resisting police.

Charges sought for burglaries at golf center

A suspect has been identified in connection with recent burglaries at the Weisfeld Family Golf Center at the University Golf Course. The most recent incidents were reported Oct. 2 and 9. Authorization of an arrest warrant is being reviewed by the county prosecutor’s office

Moped stolen from parking structure

A moped reportedly was stolen from the Church Street Parking Structure between 10 p.m. Oct. 6 and 8 p.m. Oct. 7. There are no suspects.
