A staff member at University Hospital reported Feb. 9 being touched inappropriately by a patient. Support resources were provided to the victim. The case remains under investigation.
Threat reported
DPSS received a report Feb. 2 of a threatening post on an online forum. The threatening post was investigated, and the author was identified and interviewed. The case remains under investigation.
Assault with a dangerous weapon reported at Mott Children’s Hospital
On Feb. 6, a staff member at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital reported being threatened by a patient with a chisel. The case remains under investigation.
Felonious assault reported at Domino’s Farms
Officers responded Feb. 13 to a report of a patron at Domino’s Farms being threatened with a knife following a road-rage incident. The suspect was identified and taken into custody.
Motor vehicle thefts reported
A student reported Feb. 3 that their ignition was damaged within the steering column of their vehicle while parked in Lot W-13. This case remains under investigation.
A contractor reported Feb. 24 that their vehicle was stolen while parked in Lot M-98. This case remains under investigation.
A student reported Feb. 26 that their moped was stolen while parked at one of the bike racks in the 700 black of Tappan.

The Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center supplies reports to inform the university community about incidents of sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking that are reported to SAPAC. SAPAC is a resource for survivors, their families and friends, U-M personnel (faculty, staff and U-M Police officials) and non-U-M personnel (e.g., high school counselors). The table reflects only the number of cases reported to SAPAC, and includes reporting by faculty, staff and students. The numbers do not necessarily reflect the number of incidents on campus, nor do they reflect the number of cases that occurred in a specific time frame. They also do not reflect the number of cases that may have been reported to police.
