Two visitors charged in domestic assaults
In November, two visitors at Mott Children’s Hospital were charged in separate incidents of domestic violence at the Hospital.
On Dec. 2, one visitor pleaded guilty to two counts of felony domestic violence in connection with a Nov. 1 assault on the mother of his child. He will be sentenced on Jan. 13.
On Dec. 8, another visitor pleaded guilty to aggravated assault after allegedly attempting to strangle the mother of his child. He will be sentenced Jan. 6.
Subject reported sexual assault by an acquaintance
An East Quadrangle resident reported Nov. 22 that she had been sexually assaulted the previous night in her room by someone she knew. She said she did not want to pursue criminal charges at this time.
CCRB office door found damaged
Pry marks were found on an office door lock Nov. 4 at the Central Campus Recreation Building. It is believed that entry to the office was not made and no property reportedly was missing. There are no suspects.
