Leila Haddad and the Gypsy Musicians of Upper Egypt perform at 8 p.m. March 12 at the Power Center for the Performing Arts. This performance is staged with handmade costumes, nuanced lighting and detailed technical direction. Haddad creates a dialogue between two ancient dance traditions, the Ghawazee (Gypsy) dances of Upper Egypt and those of the Kabelyas of Rajasthan, India.
