Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court John Roberts Jr., third from left, attends a groundbreaking for the Law School’s new academic building and Law School Commons, the first classroom expansion of the school’s iconic buildings since 1933. Also taking part are Regent Kathy White, Chair of the school’s building campaign Bruce Bickner, President Mary Sue Coleman, Dean Evan Caminker and Board of Regents Chair Andrew Richner. The ceremony for the $102 million expansion and renovation project was part of a four-day Law School sesquicentennial gala.
