People in need of mobility assistance on the trails of Nichols Arboretum now can enjoy the beauty of the facility by reserving a ride in the Arb’s newly acquired golf cart. Joan Wolf (pictured), Nichols Arboretum and Matthaei Botanical Gardens development director, says the cart, which was purchased with the help of a donation from the U-M Credit Union, also will be used to transport equipment for theatrical and musical presentations, and help with maintenance projects. Jim Mirk, director of business development for the Credit Union, is in the driver’s seat. (Photo courtesy Nichols Arboretum)
