Beginning Monday, traffic controls will be in place on South Division Street between Packard and East Jefferson streets for utility work associated with the Munger Graduate Residence project.
The roadway will be closed to northbound traffic at the intersection with Packard Street. Northbound traffic on South Division Street will be detoured via Packard Street, South State Street or South Fourth Avenue, East William Street and back to South Division Street.
Vehicles entering the Thompson Street Parking Structure must use the Thompson Street entrance, although traffic still may exit the structure onto South Division Street and proceed north as normal.
Pedestrian traffic will be detoured around the construction area to the west side of South Division Street. The roadway is tentatively scheduled to reopen to traffic by Oct. 24.
