U-M, Big Ten cancel remainder of winter, spring sports seasons
U-M has suspended all athletic activities, including practices, until further notice in response to the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. The cancellation follows a similar announcement by the Big Ten Conference.

As U-M moves toward alternative formats for teaching in place of in-person courses, the Center for Academic Innovation has created a resource guide for teaching remotely, and will host in-person and remote assistance.

University temporarily cancels classes in response to coronavirus
U-M will cancel classes March 12-13, and will resume delivering them March 16 in alternative formats. Classes will not meet in person through April 21, the last day of the winter semester. On-campus events with more than 100 people also are canceled.

U-M recently entered into an agreement with Adobe that provides all faculty, staff and students on the Ann Arbor, Dearborn and Flint campuses and at Michigan Medicine with access to Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
