Robert H. Hawkes
Robert H. Hawkes, a mechanic with the Health System for 33 years, died March 29 in Belleville.
Hawkes served in the U.S. Army and received the National Defense Service medal, the Vietnam Service medal, Vietnam Campaign medal and the Army Commendation medal.
He was born June 23, 1947, in Ann Arbor.
He is survived by his wife Marge (Werdehoff); his son, Keith of Belleville; a brother, Howard (Linda) of Pinckney; two sisters, Virginia (Stanley) Guerin of Belleville and Barbara (Lance) Dunham of Traverse City.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
