Nominations open for diversity award
The Office of the Vice Provost for Academic and Multicultural Affairs is soliciting nominations for the Harold R. Johnson Diversity Service Award. The award, established in 1996 to recognize the contributions of faculty who are working to create a more culturally and ethnically diverse campus, was named in honor of Harold Johnson, dean emeritus of the School of Social Work.
Nominees must be full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty on the Ann Arbor campus.
Nominations, due March 1, are welcome from faculty, staff and students. The five annual awards include a $5,000 stipend.
