Last week’s LS&A faculty meeting was like the weather–brisk. Dean Edie N. Goldenberg opened the meeting at 4:10 p.m. and it was adjourned at 4:15 p.m.

Goldenberg updated those attending on several searches, and encouraged faculty to send names of potential members of a search advisory committee for a new provost to President James J. Duderstadt.

She noted that Francis X. Blouin Jr. will welcome nominations for the post of dean of the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies, and that Susan S. Lipschultz seeks nominations for a successor to Eugene W. Nissen, LS&A associate dean for student academic affairs.
