Cold, windy weather did not deter thousands of U-M football fans from turning out for a Jan. 13 parade celebrating the Wolverines’ 12th national championship in the program’s history.
A long ribbon of maize and blue lined both sides of South State Street as the team, Michigan Marching Band and others made their way from Central Campus to Schembechler Hall, and an eventual packed celebration at Crisler Center.
