The Michigan Union (above) lit up to welcome students arriving at Michigan for their first term or returning to campus life after summer vacation. Students were welcomed with activities that included games, prizes, food and fun (below).
The Museum of Art treasure hunt (above) rewarded students who followed all the clues with posters. Art activities and music on the Museum’s front lawn were sponsored by the Year of the Humanities and Arts. Photos by Bob Kalmbach
