France great for viewing August eclipse
Five planetary and space physicists from the Space Physics Research Lab journeyed to Paris in August to a conference titled ‘Magnetospheres of the Outer Planets.’ While there, they took a side trip to Soissons to view the total eclipse from the Abbey of Saint-Jean-des-Vignes. Art-in-a-Box show opens Oct. 1
When Todd Cashbaugh told art and design alumni about the Oct. 1 exhibition in the Jean Paul Slusser Gallery, he specified that the submitted work must be no larger than 12.5 x 11 x 1.5 inches because ‘that box is what your artwork must arrive in.’ The alumni show will be on display in the gallery through Oct. 15. ‘See what happens when people who think outside the box make their work fit inside one,’ Cashbaugh says. Institute for the Humanities hosts art exhibition
