UM-Dearborn and UM-Flint have announced the speakers for their upcoming commencement ceremonies. The Dearborn campus will conduct morning and afternoon ceremonies on April 27, and the Flint campus will conduct morning and afternoon ceremonies on May 4.
UM-Dearborn
Nathan Forbes, managing partner of The Forbes Company and vice chairman of the Cleveland Cavaliers, will speak at 10 a.m. the morning to graduates of the College of Engineering and Computer Science, College of Business, and College of Education, Health, and Human Services.
Lolita Hernandez, award-winning author and poet, will speak at the 3 p.m. ceremony for graduates of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters.
Both ceremonies are at the Fieldhouse/Arena on the Dearborn campus.

UM-Flint
Phil Hagerman, CEO of Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy will deliver the address at the Flint campus’ 11 a.m. session to graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Betsy Aderholdt, CEO of Genesys Health System, will give the afternoon commencement address at 3 p.m. to graduates of the School of Education and Human Services, School of Health Professions and Studies, and School of Management.
Both ceremonies are at the Perani Arena and Event Center, 3501 Lapeer Road, Flint.
