Department of Public Safety (DPS) officers are looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed a victim at knifepoint at approximately 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2. The victim and suspect were walking in opposite directions on the gravel footpath at the southwest part of the N25 staff parking lot on Palmer Dr. As he approached the victim, the suspect reportedly said, “Give me a dollar” and the victim observed a 4-inch to six-inch knife blade at his side. The victim gave the suspect $1 and the suspect walked away.

The suspect is described as a Black male in his late teens or early 20s, about 5′ 8″ tall and weighing around 160 pounds. He is of medium build, medium complexion and his hair is described as a >-inch afro style. He was wearing dark clothing.

DPS officers urge anyone who has information to call 763-1131.
