Child care programs on the move
The Pound House Children’s Center and the Children’s Center for Working Families have both completed the move to 610 and 617 S. Forest St., named the Towsley Center for Children. Both programs have their own space and remain individual programs, but share the play yard and a recreation room in the center of the building.
`This gives us more child space,’says Pound House Director Carolyn Tyson. `We are very pleased to be here. It is an exciting move for us and very positive for young children.’ The move allows both programs to add more space for growing programs, she says.
