Flint English Language Program wins accreditation

The English Language Program at the University of Michigan-Flint has been awarded accreditation by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation from April 2014 through April 2018. Launched in 2007, the program is designed to better serve the needs of the growing international student population at UM-Flint. “Having an English Language Program here at UM-Flint is a natural step as we evolve into a true global campus,” said UM-Flint International Center director Daniel Adams.

U-M identified in Green Colleges guide

The University of Michigan continues to be listed in The Princeton Review’s Guide to 332 Green Colleges. The guide profiles 330 institutions of higher education in the United States and two in Canada that demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability in their academic offerings, campus infrastructure, activities and career preparation. Michigan has been on the list since 2009. The guide is the only free, comprehensive, annually updated guide to green colleges.
