Feminist seminar proposals due Jan. 15

The Institute for Research on Women and Gender Feminist Research Seminars are small, themed residential conferences. They are proposed and designed by interested applicants, bringing together 10-12 feminist scholars to address quandaries in theoretical or empirical research related to gender, women and sexuality. IRWG Feminist Research Seminars are also designed to encourage connections for future collaboration among participants. The application deadline for organizers is Jan. 15. Women’s History Month Exhibit submissions sought

The Center for Campus Involvement and the Michigan League will be hosting a Women’s History Month exhibit in March at the Michigan League. Works accepted for submission include photographs, paintings or drawings that can be hung on the wall and celebrate women’s strength, diversity, health or history. Submission forms are at goo.gl/forms/AqQdy2o4zL. Fill out one form for each work. Email photos of submissions to whmexhibit@gmail.com. Organizers will contact artists whose submissions are selected by the deadline Feb. 18.
