Benefits Office gets Silver Quill Award
The Benefits Office has received the Silver Quill Award from the International Association of Business Communicators.
The University received the award for its innovative approach to introduce the flex benefits plan last fall. Communications Supervisor Sue Lowe says the Office used “all kinds of communication devices, including pop-ups, videos, audio tapes and books,” to teach people about the new benefits.
The award is made for outstanding work in business communications, including materials created, the communications strategy, and how well the organization met the goals of its campaign.
