Author Leonard will read from his works

Best-selling author Elmore Leonard will read from his works during the University’s Hopwood Underclassmen Awards ceremony, 3:30 p.m. Jan. 21 in Rackham Auditorium.

Leonard, an award-winning mystery and crime fiction writer, has written nearly two dozen novels, including Out of Sight, Get Shorty, Bandits, Split Images, Maximum Bob, The Bounty Hunters and Hombre.

Sponsored by the Department of English and Borders Books and Music, Leonard’s reading is part of the University’s Visiting Writers Series, which features fiction and poetry readings by distinguished writers throughout the academic year. Most readings are free to the public.
