At work in the ‘loom room’
Fiber artist Sherri Smith, the Catherine B. Heller Collegiate Professor of Art and interim dean of the School of Art and Design, at work on a floor loom in the ‘loom room’ at the School. Known for her wall installations, Smith’s work has been commissioned by major U.S. corporations, exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, and is included in numerous public and private collections.
