Lynn Wooten, clinical professor of corporate strategy and international business and associate dean for undergraduate programs at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, is chairing the committee charged with conducting a national search and presenting a slate of recommended candidates. The committee will report to Vice Provost Sara Blair.

Current CEW director Gloria Thomas is stepping down June 30, 2016, after seven years of service.

Additional members of the search advisory committee members are:

• Patricia Coleman-Burns, assistant professor and special adviser to the dean on multicultural affairs, School of Nursing.

• Tiffany Ford, president and chief executive officer, U-M Credit Union.

• Joseph Himle, professor of psychiatry, Medical School; and professor of social work and associate dean for research, School of Social Work.

• Catherine Shaw, assistant vice provost for academic and faculty affairs.

• Mary Lynn Stevens, director of development, CEW.

Blair praised Thomas for her dedication to CEW and her service to the university.

“Gloria has initiated work that will help to position CEW for the coming decade,” Blair said. “Her work to maintain and enhance CEW’s relationships with its supporters provides CEW with a strong foundation for the future.”
