Associate Professor Letha Chadiha, School of Social Work, is chair-elect of the Social Research, Policy and Practice Section of the Gerontological Society of America. The section encompasses practitioners and researchers seeking to enhance such services as community-based and residential long-term care, assisted living, housing, care giving, nutrition, transportation and more. She will take office in November.
