Yi Lu Murphey, professor and chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been named a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Fellow is the highest membership level in the society and recognizes Murphey’s contributions to optimal energy control in hybrid electric vehicles.
Margaret Paulauski, physician assistant, Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine, U-M Health System, recently earned a Certificate of Added Qualifications specialty credential from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants by meeting licensure, education and experience requirements and passing an exam. She is among 16 certified PAs in Michigan, and 530 nationally.
