The University Record, September 5 , 1995 The 1995–96 academic calendar features several changes from calendars of the recent past.
Classes begin today, rather than on the Thursday following Labor Day as they have in past years.
Fall term classes end Dec. 8, and examinations run Dec. 11–15 and Dec. 18. Winter Commencement will be held Dec. 17.
Winter Term classes begin Jan. 10. University symposia for Martin Luther King, Jr.‘s Birthday will preempt classes Jan. 15.
Spring Break begins noon March 2 and classes resume March 11.
Winter term classes finish April 23 and exams will be given April 25–26 and April 29–May 2.
Spring Commencement activities will be held May 3–5.
