Accolades

Jessy Grizzle, Jerry W. and Carol L. Levin Professor of Engineering, professor of electrical engineering and computer science, and professor of mechanical engineering, College of Engineering, has received a Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Award. It is for co-creating MABEL, a robot that walks with the agility of a human and runs at a 9-minute-mile pace. Grizzle is listed in the magazine’s November edition among 10 World-Changing Innovators for 2012.
