Award
Alexandra Minna Stern, the Zina Pitcher Collegiate Professor in the History of Medicine, professor of obstetrics and gynecology, history and American culture, and associate director of the Center for the History of Medicine, recently delivered the John P. McGovern Endowed Lecture in Family, Health and Human Values at the University of Houston, where she was presented with the John P. McGovern Award Medal. Stern was recognized as a leading expert in the history of genetics.
