U-M is listed as one of the top 20 institutions across the globe — ranked No. 18 — according to the Times Higher Education.
The London-based higher education magazine worked with Thomson Reuters to produce “World University Rankings 2011-2012.”
The publication developed its rankings on 13 performance indicators separated into five categories: teaching, research, citations, industry income and international outlook.
U-M ranked No. 15 in the 2010 survey.
