Photo: Death row inmates gallery at Institute for the Humanities

The exhibit Texas Death Row: Executions by Lethal Injection Jan. 25-Feb. 24, at the Institute for the Humanities, 202 S. Thayer, Rooms 1010 or 1022, features photographs of death row inmates. The exhibit is in connection with the noon Feb. 8 talk by Bill Crawford and Larry Fitzgerald. Crawford wrote “Texas Death Row: Executions in the Modern Era” (Longstreet Press, 2001) and Fitzgerald served as the public information manager for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice from 1995-2003. The exhibit and talk are sponsored by the Institute for the Humanities. Pictured is Karla Faye Tucker, born Nov. 18, 1959 and executed Feb. 3, 1998.
