The University Record, September 27, 1999 Beginning today (Sept. 27), the Thompson Street entrance to the Thompson Street Parking Structure will be closed for approximately two weeks while repairs are made to a ruptured sewer main beneath the sidewalk and entrance ramp. Until work is completed, the structure’s exit to Division Street also will be open to entering traffic.
On Sept. 22, the visitor parking area in Fletcher Structure was temporarily closed for construction work to develop additional parking on the Plaza (roof). During the 6-8 week construction period, spaces on levels five and below (usually designated for visitor use) will be available for Blue permit parking. A limited number of visitor spaces will be relocated to lot N25, on Palmer Drive behind the structure. The patient parking area in Fletcher Structure (Palmer Drive entrance) is unchanged. When work is completed, approximately 76 additional Blue permit spaces will be provided.
