Summer program guide has activities for all ages

A new summer-only catalog that lists special programs, workshops and academic and recreational programs for students and non-students, and for young people from pre-school through high school, is available from the Office of Academic Outreach.

The programs listed range from regular undergraduate credit courses to athletic camps, drum major clinics, musical theater summer institutes and music technology camps, to special sessions at the Exhibit Museum.

Persons interested in computers can enroll in a number of mini-courses for beginners and persons who seek more advanced training. The Instructional Technology Division is offering an intensive workshop, “Computer Immersion: Preparing to Return to the Work Force.”

A number of professional continuing education sessions also are available, including business management seminars; law, engineering, medical and dental programs, and ice arena management.

For a copy of the catalog, call 764-5300 or write to the Office of Academic Outreach, 837 Greene St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104-3297. Information is available via e-mail to [email protected] and can be viewed on the Web: http://www.outreach.umich.edu/es/programs/summer/.
