Pizza, pickles and paws take the court 
Characters from a pizza parlor, pickle jar, and Detroit baseball and hockey teams took the courts at half time Jan. 12 when the lady Wolverines hosted the University of Illinois in women’s basketball. The mascots played a short game against audience volunteers during Hoop Happenin,’ drawing the largest crowd in a number of years. Michigan posted a 93-87 win over Illinois.
