AL OL Ensemble performs Oct. 10
The Hillel Foundation presents Yair Dalal and the AL OL Ensemble at the Ark at 8 p.m. Thurs. Oct. 10.
Since their much-lauded performance at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Norway in 1994, Yair Dalal and the AL OL Ensemble have taken the world music scene by storm.
The group performs music that is a rare mix of conflicting musical trends: traditional and modern; Eastern and Western; and Jewish and Arabic.
`By performing together, Palestinians and Israelis, we prove that music can transcend the most intractable international conflicts, suggest that peace is possible and strengthen the bond of cooperation and co-existence between the Israeli and Palestinian people.’
