School of Social Work recognizes staff

Tim Colenback, assistant director of student and multicultural affairs, has been named the recipient of the School of Social Work’s first Staff Recognition Award. Colenback, who has been a member of the staff since April 1993, was presented with a certificate and a $200 cash award on Feb. 29.

Colenback was cited for his on-going commitment to excellence in teamwork and customer service through establishing workshops for current students, seminars for potential students, his active participation in staff meetings, Process Improvement Initiatives and student activities.

The recognition program was established in January 1996 to provide continuing recognition for outstanding contribu tions by staff members. The objective is to recognize staff members who h ave demonstrated on-going excellence, unusual initiative or creativity, and/or outstanding teamwork which have contributed directly to the success of individuals, the School, University, or the community. Nominations are accepted and awards are given three times per year.
